Since early 2017 is D/DOCK collaborating with interior designer Yolanda Loudon and architect agency Benthem Crouwel on the project headquarters Goede Doelen Loterijen. The completely transformed building at the Beethovenstraat 200 in Amsterdam received the BREEAM Outstanding certification for the design.

The Goede Doelen Loterijen employees now are working on different locations in Amsterdam. In this new headquarters, everybody will be under the same roof and they are very much looking forward!

After architect Benthem Crouwel finished their phase, the special co-creation process between D/DOCK, Yolanda Loudon and the people of the organization itself started. Below the sparkling daylight coming through the canopy there is a huge atrium. We were blessed by receiving the challenge to design this atrium-space. We wanted to transform it into a place where people would love to come together, for work or a cup of coffee. Combined with the inner facades, designed by Goede Doelen Loterijen employees themselves, the stairs with its platforms, flowers and plants, it will definitely feel like a mediterranean square in the middle of a village. This is the heart of the building.

D/DOCK also designed the huge steel stairs, which were made in a warehouse in Amsterdam Noord. Designer Edward van de Poll: “The stairs are an essential part of the atrium. They invite people to walk to the square for a cup of coffee and a chit-chat, or to stay still for a moment on one of the balkonies”.

Slowly but surely our designs become more real. Delivery is planned for October 2018.
